The report of the events of Holy Week bear historical weight, but the question is always one of faith; Isaiah 53:1 says “Who has believed our report?” The historical fact informs the eternal implications for every human soul. If Christ is risen, what does that mean? Why did he suffer, die, and then rise from the dead? And why do we need to hear and believe the report concerning this event?
