A Reformed-Charismatic Approach to Worship
Worship is first drawing near to God through the blood of Christ, something we should not take for granted, since before Christ's victory over sin very few people had the privilege of drawing near to God. In our worship, we are to commune with God through the means of grace, such as preaching, God's word, baptism, the Lord's supper. But we are also to encounter and experience God through the work of the Holy Spirit as expressed through the gifts of the spirit -- God is truly near to his people, and is present in corporate worship in a unique way.

Church practises: baptism and communion
God speaks to us in words. Words are important to God. But God uses image; pictures, illustrations, events. All these must be interpreted by words – but sometimes we see truth better than hearing it. By using sight, sound and taste we understand better than by words alone. We have been looking at the church on earth as a picture of the perfect church in glory. The “bride of Christ”, as she is called, loves the good news of Christ. The Bible illustrates this gospel in 2 major ways: Baptism – using water and Communion - using bread and wine, are the two visual aids of the gospel.
